Our ISO accreditations and other independent global standards form the foundations of The Cyber-Duck Way. We were the first agency to have many of these accreditations and are still the most accredited agency today.
They reflect the elements we believe are necessary to create life-enhancing services, products, and experiences. And – critically – offer the robust processes and methodologies to deliver on this in practice, for every project, no matter the size or scope.
For our International Standards Organisation (ISO) accreditations, we are certified by British Standards International (BSI); we conduct our own audits every year, with independent audits to follow-up every three years.
ISO 9241 since 2011
The UK pioneer in user-centred digital design, Cyber-Duck was the first full-service agency to be accredited in ISO 9241-210 (Human Centred Design). We believed then – as we do now – that products and services should be easy and enjoyable to use and get users coming back for more.

Cyber-Duck works to the Government Digital Service Standard (GDS) Standard and Technology Code of Practice in our public sector work. We’ve successfully delivered GDS discoveries and passed Alpha and Beta service assessments for projects such as the Cabinet Office’s award-winning, inclusive, fully-remote Fast Stream Assessment Centre service.
